Calissa Zhang

Calissa is an Economics and Management Science student at TMU, who will coordinate with the Skills Academy team to plan and organize events at DMZ, with a primary focus on DMZ’s Basecamp program. Calissa has a strong background in event planning and management, covering everything from marketing campaigns to budgeting finances. She’s passionate about community building and creating welcoming environments.

Calissa also has a strong background in visual arts, from drawing to Photoshop to sculptures, as she was enrolled in a specialized program in high school. This summer, Calissa is looking forward to getting back into her art hobbies, as well as reading and a bit of casual gaming.

Calissa is also hoping to travel more when she can; her favourite trips so far have been to Portugal and Japan!
