About Amanda Offor

As the Black Innovation Program and Partnerships Assistant, Amanda assists in the management of programming and facilitation of relationships with BIP partners.

Amanda is an upbeat second-year Professional Communication student within the Faculty of Communication And Design, pursuing a certificate in Project Management. With her involvement in student initiatives such as the Anti-Black Racism Student Advisory Group at Toronto Metropolitan University, she often utilizes her experience with event planning and media arts to build more equitable and inclusive spaces for marginalized communities on campus. With aspirations of travel and making international connections, she enjoys watching documentaries and movies in her spare time.

Panama or Mexico so I can see the ruins and mountains outside my window.

What's the best advice you've been given?
Always have a song for everything, it's why my playlist has 800 songs I refuse to get rid of.

Big Brother, I would be the best contestant.

The first day of production of the 2001 Fast and Furious movie.

The Conjuring, truly the best cultural reset of the 21st century without a doubt.
