Arwa Hussain

Arwa supports administrative tasks, as well as helping the team create and implement various marketing activities to build the awareness of the DMZ’s brand, with an emphasis on written communications efforts under the Marketing & Communications team.

Arwa is going into her third year of Creative Industries, specializing in the business of the Fashion and Music industries. She has a passion for creative branding and marketing, her previous professional experiences include being a second-year representative in the Creative Industries Course Union, a graphic designer, marketing assistant, and social media manager.

When she is not drafting new projects or making endless to-do lists, Arwa enjoys honing her creativity through exposing herself to new music and playing music herself, indulging in K-Dramas, and making Pinterest boards. Also, the opportunity to play Uno (or any board/card game) is never off the table.

Fun fact: Her name roughly translates to “wonderful” in Arabic.
