
About Betina Borova
Betina is responsible for spearheading special program initiatives, liaising with DMZ’s network of international and national partners, and resource mobilization.
Betina has extensive experience in programming and partnership engagement with UN entities, international development organizations, and academic institutions. Prior to joining the DMZ, Betina was a Senior Research Associate for the Diversity Institute, where her research focused on inclusive entrepreneurship. Before that, Betina served as the Global Research and Data Analyst Specialist for an international, non-governmental organization in Tunisia, overseeing the implementation of a multi-stakeholder research project in the Middle East and North Africa region. She also worked as a Coordination Analyst for the UN in Ukraine, strengthening programmatic collaboration between various UN agencies, funds, and programmes. Betina has a B.A. in Politics and Governance from Toronto Metropolitan University and an M.A. in Global Governance at the Balsillie School of International Affairs at University of Waterloo.
