
About Eid Al-Masri
As a Startup Recruitment Assistant at the DMZ, Eid plays a key role in shaping the future of innovation by scouting and recruiting the next generation of standout startups. His mission is simple yet powerful: find the next DMZ hit. With a strong foundation in community building, event leadership, and relationship management, Eid is passionate about helping entrepreneurs bring bold ideas to life.
Eid is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance at the Ted Rogers School of Management at Toronto Metropolitan University, also proudly home to the DMZ. Before joining DMZ, he served as VP of Corporate Relations for TEDxTorontoMetU, where he helped lead the coordination of a TEDx Talk conference designed to spotlight emerging voices and inspire action. Outside of work, Eid thrives on endurance and discipline, having completed one marathon and two half marathons, and is driven by a deep commitment to empowering Arab and Muslim communities through storytelling, leadership, and mentorship.
What excites Eid most is the energy and creativity of the startup world. Whether through sourcing cutting-edge ventures or helping shape the ecosystem around them, he is dedicated to supporting founders whose ideas will define tomorrow.
