Emmanuelle Coppinger

Emmanuelle is the Managing Partner of Front Row Ventures (FRV), Canada’s leading student-operated and university-focused VC firm. Under her leadership, FRV closed an oversubscribed $5.5M fund, the largest of its kind in Canada. A mentor and community builder, she cofounded Women in AI Canada and helped launch NextAI Montreal. Previously, she founded a travel brand and a nonprofit. She holds an MBA from ESSEC (France), has a background in audit and investment banking, and is a proud mom of three.

Get to know Emmanuelle Coppinger

What are your hopes for the next generation of women in tech?
I want them to take what they deserve—seats at the table, capital to build, and the power to lead. As a mom of two daughters, I refuse a future where they have to fight twice as hard to be taken seriously. It’s on us to lead by example and make sure the barriers are gone before they even get there.

What’s the greatest piece of advice you have ever received?
That I am my biggest limit. I was lucky—my parents made me believe I could become anything. That mindset shaped everything I’ve done. The real challenge isn’t the barriers others set, but the ones we impose on ourselves. Break those, and the world opens up.
