Hyewon Chang

As an Operations and Administrative Assistant at the DMZ, Hyewon supports daily operations, front-desk reception, and event coordination while providing professional and responsive service to internal and external stakeholders. Hyewon’s role also involves collaborating across departments on various initiatives, representing DMZ to the startup community, students, and partners.

Hyewon is currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering at Toronto Metropolitan University and has just completed her second year. She has a strong interest in organizing data and optimizing systems to improve efficiency.

Curious and open to new experiences, Hyewon enjoys stepping outside her comfort zone—especially through social and networking events. She finds inspiration in hearing people’s stories and learning from different perspectives.
