Murtaza Tinwala

Murtaza will work directly with many people here at The DMZ to provide support for all the events as well as the different youth and student programming under DMZ’s Student Entrepreneurship programs. He will also assist with planning, creating, and executing events and programs, as well as providing operational and administrative support to ensure continuing success of the organization.

Murtaza is a first-year Business Management student majoring in Global Management at the Ted Rogers School of Management. Inspiring others is one of his passions and is one of the ways he values success, as he has been involved in many student groups including the Ted Rogers Student Society and Fit for Business. Murtaza also founded the Aurora High School Financial Literacy Club, which became the most successful club in the school’s history. Murtaza’s passion to inspire others led him to also create his own clothing brand called (goof).

He loves watching basketball and football, and loves listening to music as well. Some of his favourite artists include Drake and Kanye West, and his favourite movies are The Green Book, Lion, and Cars.
