About Naveed Tagari
Naveed is the Strategic Partnerships Lead for the DMZ’s Talent Development programs.
Currently, Naveed is an MBA candidate at the Ted Rogers School of Management. He is also a graduate of the Sport & Event Marketing program at George Brown College and has a Bachelor of Arts in Politics & Governance from Toronto Metropolitan University. Naveed comes from a rich background in the sports business world as well as the not-for-profit sector focusing on strategic partnerships and marketing.
Before joining the DMZ, Naveed worked for WE.org focusing on driving different partnerships across the country. Prior to joining WE, Naveed was the Marketing & Promotions Coordinator with Spectra Venue Management for Toronto Metropolitan University’s very own Mattamy Athletic Centre. In this role, he was responsible for planning, promoting and executing all TMU Varsity games along with other major events and festivals. He also managed the execution of all in-game promotions including live features, sponsor activations, signage, TV ads, naming rights and more. He had the opportunity to manage many partnerships such as Boston Pizza, Red Bull, Pizza Pizza, Chelsea Hotel and Molson Canadian.Get to know Naveed Tagari
