DMZ’s Newcomer Entrepreneurship program is a tailor-made, curated experience for Newcomers across Ontario. Running from June - September 2024, this fully-subsidized program offers a variety of both virtual and in-person opportunities and helps Newcomers tap into their potential and build essential skills needed for entrepreneurial growth and development.
Newcomers tap into their potential and learn how to develop and market business ideas with the help of their peers, industry mentors and successful entrepreneurs. This is an opportunity for newcomers to gain practical Canadian ecosystem knowledge and experience. Participants will ultimately have the opportunity to put into practice their learnings to develop companies solving the world's biggest problems, all while connecting with a community of like-minded individuals in DMZ's office, in the heart of downtown Toronto.
DMZ's Newcomer Entrepreneurship Program is funded by the Government of Canada's Future Skills Centre.
