Ms. Jayme Hoyte is a Co-Founder and Director at SmartTerm Limited. SmartTerm is an Education Management Platform that is digitizing schools and providing a stress-free environment for teachers and students where schools are managed efficiently online.

Ms. Hoyte has completed her education at the University of the West Indies, obtaining a B.Sc in Economics and International Relations, a masters degree in Global Studies and has completed a one-month scholarship in India on international management for sustainable growth and development. Ms. Hoyte has 10 years of experience as an entrepreneur, which she is now tapping into to assist other entrepreneurs to become successful on their journey!

What are your hopes for the next generation of women in tech?
My hope for the next generation of women in tech is to be ROCKSTARS. We know that tech is a male-dominated industry, and this is a narrative we can change. I encourage women to horn their skills, continue to break barriers, and become expert leaders who pave the way for other women to follow.

What’s the greatest piece of advice you’ve ever received?
The greatest piece of advice I've ever received - coming from my mom - is to take care of yourself, mentally, spiritually, physically and emotionally. Once you are good, everything else will be great.
