Mahdi has built his career across startups and global enterprises, bringing over a decade of experience in B2B sales, go-to-market strategy, and commercial growth. After moving to Canada with no professional network, he broke into tech sales and went on to work with companies including FlashStock (acquired by Shutterstock), Vision Critical, and Mastercard.Today, Mahdi is a Sales Director at Mastercard, where he leads Canada's Channel Distribution segment, partnering with merchants, fintechs, acquirers, and issuers.
Throughout his career, he has closed deals ranging from $20K to $5M across software, data, services, and commercial payments, and was recognized as Mastercard's North America Deal Champion in 2024.At DMZ, Mahdi works with founders who have built strong products but are looking to establish a repeatable and scalable sales engine. He supports companies with go-to-market strategy, outbound sales, sales process design, pricing, commercial partnerships, and building the foundations needed to turn early traction into sustainable revenue growth.
