International Expansion
Tamer Zyadi is a CPA, CA and Group CFO with 25 years building the financial architecture that lets companies raise capital, cross borders and exit well: over USD 1B in transaction value, twelve M&A deals, seven exits. He is Partner, Group CFO and board director at Humanise Collective, a twelve-company holding group across Toronto, Montréal, Paris, Singapore and Dubai with roughly CAD 150M in revenue, where he has closed four cross-border acquisitions and structured over CAD 30M in blended debt, equity and government capital.Closest to DMZ's founders is his work as interim CFO and advisory board member to many start-ups such as Fülhaus and SharingOS. He raised over USD 50M in equity and built the underlying material himself: models, pricing, projections, cap tables, investor decks.
One venture went from a €20M seed valuation to a €200M Series B in eighteen months. He has also handled what founders rarely plan for: shareholder buyout conflicts, partner succession, management buyout structuring.International expansion is a specialty: twenty-two markets entered by direct establishment, joint venture and acquisition, including a Dubai entity built from licence to AED 60M of first-year revenue and subsidiaries stood up in Singapore, Lisbon and Paris. With founders he pressure-tests the sequencing: which market, entity or partner, and the cost of unwinding it.
Earlier he was Equity Partner and EVP at McCann-Erickson (IPG, NYSE), doubling EBITDA in three years and delivering a 40% revenue turnaround after losing its anchor client, and spent eight years at Deloitte on due diligence, valuations and SOX programmes. With founders he works on what decides whether a round closes: what the company is worth and why, what the model must prove before a term sheet is credible and a cap table that survives three more rounds. He also advises on first finance hires, board readiness and exit preparation.Bachelor's and DESS in Public Accounting, HEC Montréal. English, French, Arabic.
