Berjit Takhar is a Senior Corporate Real Estate Professional with diversified commercial real estate experience encompassing in land development and industrial, office and retail sales/leasing, Proptech, and consulting. Having worked for a number of global and Canadian commercial real estate firms, Berjit has developed and executed strategic business plans to grow market share and capture new business opportunities.

He has also provided market analysis and strategic recommendations to senior executives, government agencies, non-profit agencies and corporate teams. He is currently sourcing comprehensive professional real estate services including strategic business planning, data analytics / property technology, site selection, sales, leasing, acquisitions/mergers, urban planning and business development. Berjit has been a Senior Advisor at the MaRS Discovery District within and Proptech / Clean Division.

Formally, Berjit was a Vice President within the PwC Real Estate Consulting division growing the Corporate Advisory and Data Analytics and Proptech technology division. Berjit has been an Executive Business Consultant with Coldwell Banker Canada. Previously, he was a Business Development Manager with Broccolini Construction Inc. in Montreal and a Real Estate Consultant for the Client Advisory Services division of DTZ Barnicke (now Cushman & Wakefield).

Berjit has an Executive MBA from the Ivey Business School, Western University, and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Urban Planning and Environmental Science from York University. He holds a Real Estate License with the Ontario Real Estate Association and has participated in a number of Associations including Asian Real Estate Association of America/Canada, the Greater Toronto Civic Action Alliance, Urban Land Institute and the BOMA.
