Tanya Qadir

Tanya is the Director of Partner Success at Rumie and has been leading global projects in both Afghanistan and Pakistan that provide localized digital learning solutions to various communities, with a focus on women and girls. She is also pursuing a graduate degree in Adult Education and Community Development at the University of Toronto. Her research interests lie at the intersection of gender, technology and community development.

What are your hopes for the next generation of women in tech?
I hope that more women, especially women from emerging economies, can be at the forefront of this space - continuing to innovate, developing thought leadership and co-creating a sustainable ecosystem that serves others who may not have the same privileges or opportunities.
