Armin Ghanavati

As a Programs Coordinator, Armin works directly with the Talent Development Manager to support diverse youth, student programming and events under DMZ’s Student Entrepreneurship programs. Armin assists with planning, creating, and executing events and programs as well as providing operational and administrative support to ensure the continuing success of DMZ.

Armin’s lifelong passion revolves around fueling innovation and growth in the exciting world of startups. Since high school, he had a passion for creating things from scratch and collaborating with teams as he worked as a Product Manager at a tech startup. Additionally, he delved into inventing and exploring startup ideas in the health IT industry. His experiences, fueled by his passion and educational background, have been instrumental in developing his skills in product management, leadership, coordination, collaboration, and problem-solving. He is a perpetual learner, always eager to embrace new challenges and is excited to apply his knowledge and keep learning to contribute to the team’s shared success.

Armin earned his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and master’s degree in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Toronto Metropolitan University
