Balaji is the Co-Founder and CEO at MedStack, and is openly passionate about tackling tough problems like improving healthcare and the role of ecosystems in industry transformation. He is an expert in product management and building software platform ecosystem businesses across a wide range of industries. He is also a well-respected startup educator, advisor and mentor, having created from scratch and taught an Intro to Product Management curriculum at a well-known international tech school, and named Founder Institute’s Most Supportive Mentor for Canada. Balaji has been building digital products for over 20 years, including having launched BlackBerry’s iconic BBM to the world, and having led platform strategy at D2L, Nymi and EventMobi.
