Brenda Okorogba

Brenda (Momentswithbren) brings experience in information literacy and knowledge mobilization (KMb), learning experience design, transdisciplinary research, and training facilitation to her role in leading programs, and scaling nonprofit organizations to develop action plans with tactical roadmaps to execute strategic initiatives that drive operational excellence, opportunity progression and revenue growth. She is also a Digital Navigator providing foundational digital literacy training to newcomer women so they can make the most of the internet and its opportunities, especially for labour market integration.

What are your hopes for the next generation of women in tech?
I hope to see more women in the tech workforce development ecosystem, where we co-create, share knowledge and resources, and foster greater synergy. I hope for a future where women in tech have equal opportunities, economic security, support, and recognition for their contributions to the industry.

What’s the greatest piece of advice you’ve ever received?
"Sometimes you may unknowingly find yourself engaging in fruitless actions in pursuit of goals due to misdirected persistence. Learn to give yourself full permission to rest. Don't be overworked and under-rested."
