Pamela Forster

Pamela is currently the Chief of Staff at LumiQ, an Ed-Tech company based in Toronto that provides professional education through podcasts. Previously, she has led content teams at both LumiQ and at Flashstock, which was acquired by Shutterstock in 2017. At both organizations, Pamela was an integral member of the early-stage team, creating the infrastructure to scale products, processes and people. Outside of work, Pamela loves art, reading, good food and wine, and her rescue dog Milly.

What are your hopes for the next generation of women in tech?
I hope the next generation of women in tech are more recognized for their talent, abilities and skills from the get-go rather than constantly having to prove they deserve to have a seat at the table.

People aren't mind readers. To get what you want, you NEED to communicate it.
