Yara Salama

Yara started her own business at the age of 18 (2017) and has been operating it since then. She graduated from the University of Prince Edward Island, with a specialization in Entrepreneurship. During her university years, she joined internships at startups like Entreprenelle, and Life From Water. She also worked with the Entrepreneurship Center (EC) in UofCanada during the work-study program as a Social Media Specialist and is currently the Communications Specialist at the DMZ Cairo.

How do you relax?
I relax by staying in bed and playing a movie or a tv show in the background.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be?
To fly…I can go anywhere at any time.

What’s one thing people know you best for?
My beautiful smile, and positive vibes!

What’s your favorite thing about Egypt?
I love Egypt during the winter...It has a distinctive smell.
