About Yumiko Namiki
Yumiko assists the Programs and Partnerships team with administrative tasks and supports strategic initiatives with Landing Pad Tokyo.
Yumiko is a postgraduate student of Sustainable Business Management at Seneca College. Before coming to Toronto, she worked in sales and digital marketing at Rakuten and American Express. While working in Japan, she faced gender inequality, which made her eager to seek change and was one of her primary motivations to come and study in Toronto, Canada.
During her free time, Yumiko likes to travel domestically and internationally, having visited 15 countries and 43 out of 47 prefectures in Japan. She also loves doing yoga, especially outdoors, such as on the beach and in the forest, to feel the beauty of nature. This also inspires Yumiko to study sustainable business practices to work towards aiding environmental issues and helping future generations enjoy the beautiful nature around us.

Doing yoga.

Tennis, Swimming, Running.
What are you most excited about for this summer?
Coming to Toronto!

Soul.
What is your biggest fear?
Cockroaches. I am very happy that there are not many cockroaches in Toronto!
