Through partnerships with DMZ (Toronto Metropolitan University accelerator), Start Up Garage (University of Ottawa accelerator), Lead To Win (Carleton University accelerator), L-Spark (SaaS-based accelerator) and Invest Ottawa’s Pre-Accelerator and Accelerator programs, Trevor has developed an interest and expertise in all things tech (start-ups through to mature tech clients). Trevor has been involved with dealing with employee stock option plans (ESOPs), simple agreements for future equity (SAFE), convertible debt, capital gain exemption status, and many other tech-related issues.
Kyle Royer

Kyle has acquired extensive experience in several multi-disciplinary areas of public accounting, including personal and corporate taxation, owner-manager remuneration and tax planning, as well as assurance (review and audit) engagements. He is an active brand ambassador, representing the firm at numerous networking and charitable events, being the lead in the co-op recruiting for Logan Katz as well as delivering presentations on topics including, bookkeeping, corporate taxation, and personal taxation.
