Top incubator-accelerator, DMZ, partners with UBI Global to elevate over 700 entrepreneurship programs around the world

TORONTO, Feb 6, 2020 – Along with being ranked a top university-based incubator in the world by UBI Global, DMZ has formed a first-of-its-kind partnership with the Stockholm-based research organization to become the official consultant-on-record for a network of over 700 publicly and privately-run incubators around the world.

UBI will connect DMZ with incubators to provide various development services in over 80 countries, which will include strategy for programming, workshop curriculum, administrative infrastructure, financial model reviews, market research, building equity, inclusion and diversity portfolio and a number of methodologies for founders and management teams.

The Stockholm-based research organization looks at over 20 key performance indicators including funding raised by startups, jobs created, survival rate of companies, number of coaching hours per company per month and many more.

Since the last UBI ranking in 2018, DMZ has launched a number of initiatives to support startups at home and abroad, further deepen its network of investors and attracted partnerships from international corporations to work with up-and-coming startups.

DMZ has also helped dozens of global incubators and accelerators develop and execute mentorship programs, build operational excellence, refine value proposition for stakeholders and more. Their experience has also empowered 30 women-led startups scale in Jordan by supporting an NGO launch a startup program, build capacity to secure a grant for a Carribean program to expand regionally, worked with a number of rural towns to realize their value proposition to build programs that attract and retain top tier global talent.
